Flirt Mastery eBook Review

I first purchased Flirt Mastery about two months ago. I really don't buy a whole lot of eBooks online so I was a bit hesitant to purchase this one. However, I saw lots of positive Flirt mastery reviews so I decided to give it a shot since the price wasn't so bad. After reading this I can honestly say that this was some of the best money I ever spent. I noticed a lot of information in this eBook that I already knew about, but even the stuff that I had already learned from somewhere else made me become better at flirting and attracting women. If you don't have time to read lengthy review then I will summarize it up real quick and say buy it and enjoy this product because I sure did.The eBook states how flirting is the most essential part of attracting women and I have to fully agree with this. When I used to flirt with women I had a pretty low success rate with it. After many failed attempts I decided to just give up until I found Flirt Mastery eBook online. After reading some of the tips inside of it I decided to give it another go. It didn't take me all but a few hours before I got a girl's phone number when I went out to the club that night.It's kind of funny, I didn't think a guy like me could actually get attention from other girls, but just by applying a few techniques in this book all of a sudden girls were looking at me. It's kind of funny, but I didn't take that attention very well and you will find that if you are the kind of person that isn't used to lots of attention that it's a bit hard to get used to. After a few more nights of flirting with women I got used to the added attention and now I crave it.The book itself is over 280 pages long and is broken up into 10 separate parts that cover a large variety of different techniques and topics. Since most of the book is about flirting it gets pretty in depth. You can learn other things besides flirting with the book, but the main part of it is flirting. Some of the things that you learn are some body language techniques and how to find out if she's actually interested in you. I also learned how to tell different stories and how to seduce her. I'll admit that some of the tactics don't work, but that's just me and to each his own right? It will also identify what kind of person you are and what techniques you should apply when looking for women. I'm kind of short and fat so obviously trying to use my manly charms and good looks isn't really going to help me out. The great thing though is that the author will tell you what techniques will work depending on your body shape or personality and what kind of girls will go for a guy like you.There's also a nifty quick start guide that's about 30 pages long. If you don't have enough time to read the entire 300 page book than this gives you sort of a cliff notes guide to flirting. I highly recommend that you read the whole book because there's a lot more information in there, but if you want to just try out some small techniques right away to see if it's even worth your time then definitely skip to this part.One of the downsides to the book is the fact that it is so long. Don't get me wrong, I like all of the information inside of it, but it seems that there is so much information that I will never be able to use all of it. That's why like the condensed version that's inside of the book that can reduce a run through of what it is all about.I would have to say that my favorite part was the 24 traits of a superior alpha male. This is sort of a bonus that the author gives you and it's about 75 pages long that tells you how to become an Alpha male which is what all women are actually seeking. Of course, gone are the days of beating up another guy to show your dominance, but you can still have alpha male traits that will impress any woman out there at the club or in the bar without having to step on too many toes to do it.Overall I have to give this e-book a 4/5. Although there were a couple of things inside of the e-book that I didn't get or were simply too complicated, for the information that you get for the price it can't be beat. I would definitely buy any future works from this author and gladly share them with my friends just to make sure that he continues to come out with great quality books like this one. If you haven't bought it yet, then do so now because you don't want something like this to get saturated. Conversation Chemistry E-Book Review

Striking a conversation with a man is a very difficult thing to do, let's admit it. There is something in our subconscious that says that the man has to lead the conversation, but this isn't necessarily true. I personally have had my fair share of awkward silences or brick walls when having conversations with first dates. I can honestly say now that that problem has gone out the window after I purchased Conversation Chemistry by Amy Waterman and Mirabelle Summers.If you are like me, you have very little confidence in your conversation skills with men. I have absolutely no trouble talking to my other girlfriends but when it comes to the male sex I am completely clueless. What Amy and Mirabelle have done is put together a 300 page how-to guide for male to female conversation. It took me a little bit to get through the whole thing and it went a lot better than I thought, but I received a plethora of information that I'm still digesting right now. In this guide you will learn exactly how to start a conversation with an attractive man, keep it going, and eventually get his number or give yours away and have him actually call you.I first came across this e-book when a friend of mine recommended it to me. I suppose I could've just read hers but those are just one of the things you can't stay at your friend's computer for and read for three hours. The price tag was pretty reasonable so I thought I would give it a shot. I am so glad that I did now and have been dating my current boyfriend for about three months.Before I read this e-book, I was shy, silent most of the time and definitely would never approach a man directly. Needless to say I never got too much attention because people would call me mousy looking. I know most men would never bat an eye towards me and if they ever did give me any attention it was the wrong kind. All I wanted was to find a nice man who was respectful and caring and a good listener. I know most women think that those types of men don't exist but they do, you just have to actively seek them out. You can see the problem now as since I lacked confidence before I would just have to hope that they found me first.Unfortunately, if you want to find the right man you can't wait for him to find you. This e-book tells you exactly how to start a conversation without having it sound too awkward or making you sound slutty. Most men are not used to having a girl come to them so it actually works in your favor. Men crave attention just like any other woman so don't think that you always have to be the receiving end on everything for a relationship. Be brave, and go try your best shot.Another thing that they bring up in the e-book is the fact that men and women communicate differently. I thought this part of the book was pretty fascinating as most women don't understand how a man's mind works. In the book they discuss how men are always to the point and goal oriented with their conversations. It's more like exchanging information than building a type of relationship with the other person. On the other side of the coin, women use words to build a relationship or connection with the other person and it doesn't really matter what they are talking about but that they are having fun and strengthening their emotional bond with that person. This would explain why men tend to trail off when listening to women as they are expecting some information and not realizing that it's the act of having the conversation that's interesting and not what you are learning from it.The book itself is broken down into three separate parts called the basics of communication, dating communication and relationship communication. This book won't just help you talk better with your boyfriend prospects, but once you actually obtain a relationship it will explain how to keep it going and create a stronger bond with your boyfriend or husband. Any situation that you may come across in a relationship can be solved with this e-book so even after you learn everything that it has to tell you, you can always go back and reread it again when you are facing problems with your relationship.Overall I am very happy with purchasing this book and I'll say it again and again that it is worth its money. The only downside to the book was it is really long and sometimes a lot of the information contained in the book is pretty obvious. You just have to keep in mind though that this book was built for everybody starting from a beginning level to advanced. That being said, there is going to be a whole lot of information that you won't be able to use, but since it is almost 300 pages long you will definitely find something there for you.If you haven't gone out and bought this e-book yet you should. I've learned a lot of valuable life lessons from it and I constantly refer back to it when dealing with my boyfriend. I don't know what I would have done if I never found this. I would probably still be sitting in Borders waiting for a guy to walk up to me and start a conversation. Now that I have read this book I am confident to go out and seek any man that I want.Conversation Chemistry by Amy Waterman and Mirabelle Summers is a must-have for any female out there looking to find true love in her life. Saint Augustine by Garry Wills - A Biography of the Early Christian Saint

A young African man with a taste for sex and a highly developed sense of both religion and mission travels across the Mediterranean. He decides to sail. Once in Italy, he communes with the rich and powerful and then, some years later, makes the return journey via the same means of transport, and thereby completes the sum total of his life's travels.We know a lot about the man, not only from his own writings which are both extensive and preserved, but also from the accounts of many of those contemporaries who met him, engaged in intellectual and theological debates with him, or merely reported.The Roman Empire had only recently espoused Christianity. It was an era when the young faith was divided by schism. A strength of this biography of Augustine is that it brings home the passion that characterised these differences. A weakness, however, is tat the different variants of fourth century Christianity are not clearly delineated. This would, perhaps, be too much to ask in a short account of a life, but there are times when understanding of the text is compromised because of this omission. What does come alive, however, is how recent were the memories of persecution under Diocletian. It was a difference in attitude to some of those who succumbed to denial of their faith under that persecution that created one major schism.Donatists refused to re-admit those who had renounced their faith under threat and were the main expression of Christianity in North Africa. Our young African man chose to ally himself with the Roman church, thus placing himself in a local minority.Pelagius who was around at the time denied the concept of original sin. Quite often it seems that he didn't, then he did, and then he didn't again. It was a heresy, needless to say. But, and I feel it might be an attractive concept even today, the idea that the Church was not full of sinners had its adherents.Arians stressed the humanity, not the divinity of Jesus Christ. This allowed them to avoid at least some of the problematic concept of three deities in one, a holy trinity. The concept has been a confusion and for many outside of Christianity it appears to be a wholly unnecessary complication. Arian thought, however, Gary Mills points out, is only reported by those who opposed them, so an accurate representation of their philosophy is difficult to establish.Manicheans, unlike Christians, saw the universe in black and white, a competition between good and evil. There were aspects of light and dark in everything and everyone, but it was the interplay between the two that determined where an individual might be placed in the overall scheme of things. Manichaeism has largely disappeared from world religion, its only remaining bastion being Hollywood, where it provides the basis of most films aimed at the popular audience.All of these ideas, heresies and religions were themselves in competition in the homeland of Augustine of Hippo. And through Gary Wells' book we gain an insight into how an individual thinker and philosopher grappled with the contradictions and tried to make sense of what he regarded as the correct line. The book is a window on Augustine's thoughts, thoughts that often deal with the base as well as the obviously spiritual. Gary Wills provides real insights into Augustine's charm, the magnetism of his rhetoric and the logical processes of his thought. And he manages to this in just 150 pages, pages that also include significant and poignant quotes from Augustine's work.The stained glass analogy on religion applies. If you look at windows from outside, they are merely sold grey. On the inside, they reveal full and splendid colour. There might be many a modern reader who would be confused as to why it matters that a concept is associated with this or that belief. But for a Christian and certainly for someone who sees the windows in full colour it clearly does matter. Gary Wills's book brings the debates and issues alive even for the general reader, though it has to be said that sometimes the detail of the theological debate is less than penetrable. Under the Dome by Stephen King - Audio-book Review

I could not resist listening to Stephen King's new audiobook, Under the Dome, despite the daunting task of thirty four hours of listening. The audiobook is pure Stephen King and narrated excellently by Raul Esparza. Apparently, King started the book back in the 1970s, only to return to finish it now.In Under the Dome, King does what he does best - show us just how despicable and wicked people can be. The monsters here are human, and they are terrifying.He starts us out in the beautiful small New England town of Chester's Mill. It is peaceful and beautiful. It is the perfect small American town. Then it all changes in the flash of a crash into a force field like dome that has trapped the town under an impenetrable barrier.The town is isolated and unable to reach the outside world. Death follows immediately with plane and car crashes. No one knows what's happening or how to break through the dome. What is this invisible dome? Why is it happening? Why here? Why now? That's when the local population starts going bad.King uses his skills to send the local population into a tailspin of sinister action and frightening turns. Fear, conspiracy, corruption and even murder start to terrorize the town. Vicious characters take control. A virtual dictatorship ensues with full on police control. The population of Chester's Mill is frozen with fear, and as usual that is a trigger for people doing things they would never even think about under other circumstances.Terror and an internal battle for control naturally arise from the tension and out of control situation. It is a battle of Evil versus not so evil that shows us just how ugly people can get. It is a battle for their lives, with people doing anything and everything terrible you can imagine. With breath taking horror, just when it seems the sort of good guys might win, King pulls the rug out from under them yet again.This audiobook is a frightening ride into terror and horrible actions that only humans can inflict upon one another. Once you start listening, you will be addicted to the story and power through this marathon performance.My last warning, don't start listening to the performance of this audiobook unless you have some time on your hands. Measure of the Heart - A Father's Alzheimer's, A Daughter's Return

The story is unique as every Alzheimer's story is and yet the same as every Alzheimer's story is. The book is a wonderful reflective accounting of real life as a daughter and caregiver.Mary's father was unique in that although he couldn't remember his own daughter's name he was able to remember the lyrics to the many songs he had sung over the years, including the baritone parts to songs he sang in a men's group. Her father was delightful in life and delightful through the disease, which made the stories easier to read.Each chapter held important information to glean within the experience that was shared. I especially appreciated the chapters: Alzheimer's Chicken, which talked about the different "chores" or activities that kept her father feeling like he had meaning and purpose; Hospital Hell and Healing, was enlightening in dealing with the healthcare system and sometimes the public in general; The Caregivers, was honest about the emotions and the toll care-giving takes on a person. I came away from this book with practical ideas and comfort written by someone who has been there. It is obvious that the author deeply loves her parents, who they were and who they are now. The book contains valuable research and lists many resources. Anyone, regardless if Alzheimer's is a part of their world, would profit from and enjoy reading the book. seuss book collection sets cat hat

Finnigans, Slaters and Stonepeggers: A History of the Irish in Vermont, Vincent E. Feeney, 2009, ISBN 9781884592522When talking about the history of the Irish in America, places like Boston or New York City come to mind, not Vermont. This book aims to change that oversight.In the 1700s, many Irish came to America by way of the British Army. Whatever the reason for signing up, extreme poverty in Ireland, or the lure of adventure on foreign shores, after fighting in the French and Indian War, many Irish stayed in the unnamed land between New York and New Hampshire. After the Revolutionary War and into the 1800s, desertion was rife among British Army units in Canada. The lure of rampant land speculation south of the border was pretty powerful. If the Irish did not come to Vermont via the British Army, they came because relatives or family members were already established in Vermont.With the coming of Irish Potato Famine of the 1840s, the immigration trickle to Vermont turned into a flood. These new starved and half-dead immigrants, who came because they had no choice, were generally able to find work doing what they did back home. Laying railroad tracks or factory work, for instance, was backbreaking work for very little pay, but, it was work. During the Civil War, Vermont quarries were the main source for all those monuments and headstones. After the Civil War, in which Vermont Irish played their part, Yankee farmers were seized with a desire to head West, and find better farmland than Vermont's hilly, hardscrabble farms. The Irish were only too happy to buy up those farms; back in Ireland, land ownership was an impossibility for most people.Ethnic and religious tensions among the various groups living in Vermont were never far below the surface. In the early days, living in a certain town meant that attendance at the local church was mandatory, regardless of the religion. In most towns, there was an Irish Catholic church, and a French-Canadian Catholic church; worshipping together was simply not an option. Sober, hardworking Irish Presbyterians, who came to Vermont under more favorable circumstances, called themselves Scots-Irish in order to distinguish them from the shiftless, alcoholic Catholic Famine Irish immigrants. Through the 1900s, the Catholic groups grew closer together, but, if anything, Irish Catholics and Protestants grew farther apart. Their children went to separate schools, and they belonged to separate business organizations.Here is a beautifully-written book that is recommended for anyone interested in new England history or the history of the Irish in America. The Lightning Thief Has Hard Hitting Action and Costumes

Just a couple more weeks until Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightening Thief is released to theaters. The young-adult book series, by Rick Riordan, has been a big hit in my family and although it is written for the younger generation, it also appeals to adults. My guess is that with the popularity of the books and a new movie opening up on February 12th, costumes based on this fantasy adventure story will be very popular for Halloween 2010.The plot revolves around high school student Percy Jackson who really gets a history lesson when the gods of Mount Olympus come to life and walk right out of the pages of his Greek Mythology text book! Turns out Percy, who finds out his father is Poseidon (making him a demi-god), is the prime suspect in the stealing of Zeus' lighting bolt. His mother mysteriously disappears and, with the help of friends, Percy sets out on adventure to catch the real thief, safe his mother and unravels an epic mystery as well.You can make the story come to life at your own party by dressing up in Greek god and goddess costumes. Zeus, king of the gods and ruler of Mt. Olympus, is known for his white robes, white beard and lightning bolt which he throws about. A toga costume and costume beard will make this Greek costume easily transformable into a Lightening Thief costume. Women might like to dress up as Aphrodite, the most beautiful of the Greek Goddesses. A long column-style gown wrapped criss-cross around the waist, a cascading blonde wig and golden Greek jewelry complete her Greek costume.
